Review of Day By Day Armageddon By J. L. Bourne

|

I have to start out by saying I have never read a book like this before. It is written as a diary by a average guy just trying to survive. Beginning on or about New Years Eve he has decided to start a journal, and after this disease starts spreading his journal gets much more interesting than any other journal I have heard of. Warning- The Plot may be discussed. He begins with the trivialities of living and the news he is hearing. Starting out as what the news is calling the flu, but then starts to sound worse, much worse. We get to witness the downfall of things from being increasingly unable to contact his family to thedeterioration of his surrounding community until loss of contact. He eventually has to leave his home to search for away to survive along with his neighbor. Along the way they interact with other characters and zombies in trying to reach a safe place. Again, I have never read a book in this form and did not think I would like the style. The verdict- I still am not sure if I like this style or not but the book is awesome. The zombies are never ending and all of the action is told from his perspective of having lived it and then come back to write about it. The editing is good, apparently done by the Author Travis Adkins. (You will be hearing about his books on here to soon).
